While other camps will have you taking notes most of the day on a power point, at Point Guard Elite you will be learning to make reads on the defense, stretch passing angles, handle pressure in the backcourt, how to properly come off of ball screens, footwork on the perimeter, finishing at the basket, defense and so much more. Players will be learning the same concepts Coach Otter has taught to many current players in the NBA, NBL & NCAA Div-I. If you're a player, 8th grade to college age and you have big goals with the game of basketball, this is a camp you absolutely cannot miss. OUR RESULTS ARE PROVEN.

Junior Elite

The Nation's #1 Junior Camp

Junior Elite basketball camp was designed for the serious young player to start familiarizing them with a more advanced curriculum at a younger age in a disciplined environment. Players will begin to start developing an understanding of how to maximize their game not just from an athletic perspective but also as a leader. Students will begin to build off of foundational concepts and expand into understanding what it takes from a personal and team aspect to succeed at the next level. Students will begin to understand our PGE motto "The only success is team success!!" Students should leave the camp with a solid understanding of what it takes to play High Level Basketball as well as how to make everyone around them better on and off the court.
  The Ultimate Player Development Camp Specifically Designed for 4th-7th Graders

One Day Camp

While the One Day Camp is far from a beginner level camp, it is the first camp we recommend attending in the OtterBasketball program. The Day Camp is the cornerstone in the OtterBasketball curriculum and all other camps build off of what is taught in this camp. This camp is recommended for new players and returning players because it consistently reinforces the importance of having a solid foundation and focuses on OtterBasketball's Efficiency of Movement techniques, which is vital to a player's success against more athletic players. This camp is co-ed and is open to all ages of players that are experienced and serious. It's hard to put an age limit on this camp because we feel it's important for young players to be introduced to these concepts as early as possible yet high school and college age players benefit greatly as well. We ask that players younger than 4th grade do not attend this camp unless they have experience with the OtterBasketball program through Virtual Kids Training and are ready to advance.
  Coach Otter is present at all camps and will demonstrate and dissect each drill so that players understand why they are doing it and how it applies in a game situation.

Shooting Camp

  This is "NOT" for beginning players. This basketball camp is very intense and for serious players. This basketball camp usually only accepts 18 participants.
  Shooting efficiency (taking out all wasted motion in the shot leading to a quicker release and more consistency)
  Catch and shoot (release the ball faster and with more consistency by understanding proper techniques to the catch and shoot)
  Catch and square (teach players how to catch and square up helping them establish correct pivot foot and load their legs for their shot and a explosive 1st step)
  Creating space out of triple threat (making more efficient moves out of triple threat / creating space out of triple threat in the form of step backs and dribble moves / reading the defense out of triple threat / keys to making you hard to guard).
